Should the learner start the course and then wish to de-register at any stage, a cancellation fee equalling 50% of the total fee will be payable. This cancellation fee is used for administration and overhead costs associated with the cancellation.

For clarity on above, fees are neither refundable nor transferable upon cancellation at any stage after signature hereof and shall be retain as damages/penalty.

CERTIFICATES ARE ISSUED BASED ON COMPETENCY

1.      NO certification will be issued based on the following situations:

a)      Failure to reach an acceptable level of competency.

b)     Failure to be present at scheduled time of exams.

c)      Failure to abide by the College rules and regulations.

d)     Any admissions criteria that have not been met.

2.      Right of admission to this College is reserved.

3.      Learners are bound by the rules, regulations, policies and procedures as set down by Dare Nail and Beauty (Pty) Ltd/Dare2Ware Training Academy and the associated disciplinary measures in the case of non-compliance.

4.      Relevant Identification or Study Visa, Passport is required and compulsory.

5.      We hereby waive all claims against Dare Nail and Beauty (Pty) Ltd / Dare2Ware Training Academy for any damages or loss of whatsoever nature suffered while the learner is, or as the result of being, a student of this institution resulting in (without limitation) death, mental harm or arising from physical injury, or illness suffered by me (the student) or any other person, howsoever the damage or loss caused by, but not limited to the negligence of Dare Nail and Beauty (Pty) Ltd / Dare2Ware Training Academy or any official employee or representative of this institution.

6.      Dare Nail and Beauty (Pty) Ltd / Dare2Ware Training Academy shall have the right at its sole discretion, to cancel tuition in any course or subject initially advertised and offered on the basis of insufficient demand.

7.      All short courses enrolled for are to be started and completed within 3 (three) months of payment.

8.      ONLY products and tools provided in kits will be allowed to be used in the College, should there be any other products or tools used not supplied in kits, you will be expelled from the school with immediate effect.

9.      All short courses are to be completed within the prescribed time from date of inception, should learner require additional time after prescribed time, a charge of R100 per day will be required which is payable upfront before commencement of class.

10.   Dare Nail and Beauty (Pty) Ltd / Dare2Ware Training Academy is an educational learning centre, all courses are guided learning, student has to, once prescribed hours are completed, practice their acquired skills at home over a period of 6 (six) weeks. Once  ready, a date for the practical assessment will be set for practical evaluation. This date will be given on day of commencement of short course.

11.   Should learner not be ready for practical evaluation on scheduled date, a valid reason will need to be presented to the Principal in order to set a new practical evaluation date.

STUDENT CODE OF CONDUCT

1.      Be dressed appropriately at all times.

2.      Hair tied back and off the face and shoulders.

3.      Behave in a way that does not bring the good reputation of the College into dispute.

4.      Treat everybody with courtesy and respect, no matter their gender, rank, race or creed.

5.      Be on time for each class.

6.      Attend every class, all lectures, practicals, tests, assessments and examinations.

7.      Complete all assignments by the due date.

8.      Write all tests and examinations on the dates specified.

9.      Obey all instructions by any member of the academic or administration staff of the College.

10.   Respect the property and furnishings of the College.

11.   Guard against any activities that could result in damage to any property or harm to any person.

12.   Obey the Copyright Act and thus not get, copy or share study materials without permission.

13.   All classes will be conducted in English and ONLY ENGLISH to be spoken in class and to peers.

14.   Kits, manuals/notebooks, pens & towels to be brought to each class.

15.   Keep work stations ie; table, chairs, bins, tool sterilizer trays, floor, pedicure station, massage plinths, trolleys, overhead lamps, steamers, toilets, basins, towels etc. clean and hygienic after each lesson/service – disciplinary action will be taken should learner not adhere to rules and regulations of Dare Nail and Beauty (Pty) Ltd / Dare2Ware Training Academy Code of Conduct.

I, the undersigned Applicant/Student undertake to abide by the policies and rules of Dare Nail and Beauty (Pty) Ltd / Dare2Ware Training Academy and sign surety as co-principal debtor.
